How to Make Philly Cheesesteak Skillet

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it turns fully browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring well. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates, then season with salt and pepper.
  • In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion, bell peppers, and optional mushrooms, cooking for 5-6 minutes until they're softened and fragrant.
  • Return the browned beef to the skillet, mixing it gently with the sautéed veggies. Lay slices of provolone cheese over the top, cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Notes
