  • 14 oz Firm Tofu Choose extra-firm and press out excess moisture
  • 2 tbsp Togarashi Spice Blend Use shichimi togarashi for flavor

  • 1 tbsp Wasabi Paste Opt for real wasabi for better flavor
  • 8 pcs Soft Corn Tortillas Fresh ones are preferred

Preparation Steps

  • Press the firm tofu with paper towels to remove any excess moisture, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
  • In a bowl, gently toss the cubed tofu with shichimi togarashi until evenly coated.
  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the tofu cubes for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Warm the soft corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  • Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with crispy tofu, drizzling with wasabi paste and lime juice, and adding fresh veggies.
  • Serve the tacos with a final squeeze of lime juice.

Notes

Consider garnishing with fresh cilantro or green onions for added flavor and color.
