For the Pork Chops

  • 4 chops Pork Chops Choose about 1 inch thick, bone-in or boneless.
  • to taste Salt

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For cooking.

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Honey Adds sweetness.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Low sodium recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger Or fresh grated.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Mixed with 2 tablespoons water.

Cooking Instructions

  • Season your pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the seasoned pork chops to the skillet and sear them for about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic.
  • Stir in the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and ginger.
  • Add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
  • Place the seared pork chops back into the skillet and coat them with the sauce.
  • Serve the chops hot, drizzled with any remaining sauce.
  • Optional: Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the pork chops in the honey garlic sauce before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
