Cooking Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine chicken thighs, salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Transfer it to a plate and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter, minced garlic, and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion turns translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce and sugar. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add the chicken back into the skillet.
  • Pour in heavy cream, mixing everything nicely. Add cayenne, garam masala, curry powder, and black pepper. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
  • Finish the sauce by adding in the remaining butter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve hot with warm naan or steamed rice.
