Instructions

How to Make Moist Delicious Cranberry Bread With Fresh Cranberries

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and optional orange zest.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix gently.
  • Fold in the fresh cranberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer the loaf to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Drizzle some icing on top for an extra sweet touch! Ensure all wet ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.
