How to Prepare

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, orange zest, honey, grated ginger, soy sauce, and olive oil until well combined.
  • Coat the salmon fillets generously in the marinade, ensuring each fillet is covered. Refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • While the salmon marinates, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Place the marinated salmon in the dish, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan, bring it to a boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
  • In the last few minutes of baking, brush the thickened glaze over the salmon.
  • After baking, let the salmon rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
