Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Base

  • 1 box Strawberry Cake Mix
  • 8 tablespoons Butter, melted Can substitute with vegan butter
  • 1 large Egg Essential for binding
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese, softened Adds softness

For the Center

  • 30 Chocolate Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped Can use other chocolates

Optional Topping

  • Powdered Sugar or Pink Granulated Sugar For dusting

Instructions
 

Making the Cookies

  • In a large bowl, mix the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
  • Mix in the softened cream cheese until fully incorporated and the dough is thick and creamy.
  • Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
  • Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set while the centers remain soft.
  • Once out of the oven, gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack until completely cooled.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar for added sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
