  • 1 tsp Cinnamon optional
  • 2 tsp Honey optional
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil optional, for brushing
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt

For the Garnish

  • 2 tbsp Fresh herbs mint or parsley

How to Make Savory Roasted Stuffed Dates

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Carefully slice the medjool dates lengthwise and remove any pits.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese (or goat cheese), chopped nuts, cinnamon, and honey. Stir until well blended.
  • Gently fill each date with the cheese and nut mixture.
  • Place your stuffed dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops of the dates with olive oil, if desired.
  • Lightly sprinkle sea salt over the stuffed dates.
  • Bake in your preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
  • Once roasted, remove the dates from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and additional chopped nuts.
