  • 12 dates Medjool dates pitted
  • 4 oz Cream cheese or goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts walnuts, pecans, or almonds
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon optional
  • 1 tbsp Honey optional

For Roasting

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil optional
  • 1 pinch Sea salt

For Garnishing

  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs like mint or parsley
  • 1/4 cup Additional chopped nuts

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the dates lengthwise if they aren’t already pitted and remove the pits carefully.
  • Mix together cream cheese, chopped nuts, cinnamon (if using), and honey in a bowl until well combined.
  • Stuff each date with the filling, pressing gently to secure it inside.
  • Arrange the stuffed dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil if desired and sprinkle with a little sea salt.
  • Roast the stuffed dates in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until warm and slightly caramelized.
  • Remove them from the oven and allow to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh herbs and additional nuts.
  • Serve your savory bites warm or at room temperature.
