For the Dip

  • 8 oz Feta Cheese crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Fig Jam or substitute with other fruit jams
  • 1/2 cup Pecans chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil extra virgin recommended
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme or fresh thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional

For Garnish

  • 2 tbsp Fresh Herbs parsley or additional thyme

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, fig jam, chopped pecans, olive oil, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes. Stir until all ingredients are well blended and combined.
  • Carefully spoon the mixture into a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until warm and slightly golden.
  • Allow the dip to cool for a few minutes after baking. Garnish with fresh herbs, then serve warm with sliced baguette, crunchy crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle with a bit of honey for a sweet finishing touch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
