Preparation Steps

  • In a large mixing bowl, add rolled oats, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), cocoa powder, shredded coconut, and chocolate chips.
  • Use a wooden spoon or your hands to thoroughly combine all ingredients until they form a sticky, cohesive mixture.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for 15-20 minutes.
  • Once chilled, scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball.
  • If desired, roll each ball in extra shredded coconut or crushed nuts for added texture.
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for another 15-30 minutes to firm up.
  • Once set, store in an airtight container in the fridge or enjoy immediately.
