For the Steak and Shrimp

  • 1 lb Steak (ribeye or sirloin) Tender cuts preferred
  • 1 lb Shrimp Fresh or properly thawed frozen

For the Garlic Butter Marinade

  • 4 cloves Garlic Freshly minced
  • 1/2 cup Butter Melted
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For coating shrimp

For Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Salt To enhance flavor
  • 1 tbsp Pepper Freshly cracked

For Freshness

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (e.g., parsley, thyme) Chopped

  • In a bowl, combine melted butter with freshly minced garlic and your choice of chopped herbs.
  • Generously season the steak with salt and pepper, and drizzle olive oil on the shrimp, sprinkle with salt.
  • Coat both the steak and shrimp with the garlic butter mixture. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the steak on the grill first; after five minutes, add in the shrimp.
  • Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Once cooked, let the steak rest for about five minutes, then drizzle any remaining garlic butter over before serving.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley for an extra pop of color.
