  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese fresh is best
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs substitute with gluten-free breadcrumbs for gluten-free option
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder fresh minced garlic can be used for bolder taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika for mild smokiness and color
  • 1 tablespoon Dried parsley use fresh parsley for brighter flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

For the Fish

  • 4 pieces Tilapia fillets fresh or well-thawed
  • 1 large Egg acts as a binder

For Cooking

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil spray for achieving a crispy texture

Steps

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Whisk the egg in a shallow bowl and combine the grated Parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl.
  • Dip each tilapia fillet into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the Parmesan mixture.
  • Spray both sides of the coated fillets with olive oil.
  • Arrange fillets in a single layer within the air fryer basket and cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges and a side of your choice.
