  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes Can substitute with Russet or red potatoes.

For Flavor

  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced; can use roasted garlic for more sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Finely chopped.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Chives Finely chopped.

For Creaminess

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Warmed.

For Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Peel and cube the Yukon Gold potatoes. Place them in a pot of water, bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Drain the cooked potatoes, return to the pot, and mash until creamy.
  • Add the remaining butter and sautéed garlic, pour in warmed heavy cream, and fold in parsley and chives. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve warm, garnished with extra herbs or a drizzle of olive oil.

Notes
