For the Dip

  • 8 oz Feta Cheese Use goat cheese as a substitution for a twist.
  • 1/2 cup Fig Jam Apricot or raspberry jam can also work.
  • 1/2 cup Pecans Walnuts or almonds can be fantastic substitutes.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Avocado oil is a healthy option.
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme Fresh thyme or oregano can replace it.
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Omit if a milder flavor is preferred.

For Serving

  • 1 loaf Sliced Baguette
  • 1 box Crackers
  • 2 cups Fresh Vegetables

How to Make

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together crumbled feta cheese, fig jam, chopped pecans, olive oil, dried thyme, and optional red pepper flakes until well blended.
  • Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is warm and slightly golden.
  • Allow to cool briefly, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm with sliced baguette, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
  • Optional: Drizzle with honey before serving for added sweetness.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the unbaked dip for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight before baking.
