Instructions
 

Making the Waffles

  • Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix together the large eggs, milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir gently until just combined.
  • Lightly coat the waffle iron with cooking spray or brush with oil.
  • Pour 1/2 to 3/4 cup of batter onto the preheated plate.
  • Cook for 4–5 minutes until the waffles are golden brown.

  • For the Cinnamon Whipped Cream, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon until soft peaks form.
