How to Make Decadent Chocolate Peppermint Mousse Cups

  • In another bowl, whisk together the separated egg yolks and granulated sugar for about 3-4 minutes until pale and thick.
  • Gently stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg yolk mixture. Add vanilla and peppermint extracts, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until soft peaks form. Gently fold them into the chocolate mixture in three additions.
