Cooking Steps

  • Bring salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini for about 3-5 minutes until they reach an al dente texture. Drain gently and let them rest.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak and sear for 3-5 minutes until browned, then remove and let rest.
  • Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and whole milk. Let simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Gradually add shredded parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts into a velvety sauce.
  • Return the seared steak and the tortellini to the skillet. Toss gently for about 2 minutes, coating everything in the sauce.
  • Dish out your meal and garnish with parsley, cracked black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
