Preparation

  • Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies until they resemble fine crumbs. Combine these with melted butter, mixing well, and then press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to form a stable crust.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it's smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, continuing to beat until combined. Fold in the whipped topping gently, creating a light and creamy layer, then spread it evenly over the crust.
  • In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with milk until thickened—this should take about two minutes. Once ready, pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer, smoothing it out for an even distribution.
  • In a separate bowl, toss the fresh raspberries with granulated sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes. Afterward, distribute the raspberries evenly over the chocolate pudding layer.
  • Cover the assembled dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  • Just before serving, add additional whipped topping on top and sprinkle with optional chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for an added touch. Cut into squares and enjoy!
