Ingredients
  

For the Pork Chops

  • 4 pieces Pork loin chops Opt for 1" thick cuts for maximum tenderness and juiciness.
  • to taste Salt

For the Coating

  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder Can also use fresh garlic for an extra punch.
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Substitute with gluten-free flour to maintain gluten-free status.

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Butter Rich and flavorful.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Feel free to substitute with another oil if desired.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh or minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup White wine Use a dry variety or substitute with chicken stock.
  • 1 cup Chicken stock Low-sodium versions work well.
  • 1/2 cup Whipping cream Or heavy cream for a creamier texture.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil Optional but highly recommended for garnish.

Cooking Instructions

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Coat the seasoned chops in a mixture of garlic powder, onion powder, and flour.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until melted and bubbling.
  • Sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Prepare the sauce in the same skillet by adding Italian seasoning and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  • Deglaze the pan by stirring in white wine, scraping up browned bits and bringing it to a boil.
  • Mix in chicken stock, whipping cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan; stir well.
  • Transfer pork chops to the Crockpot and pour sauce over them, ensuring they are well covered.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until pork is tender.
  • Serve with fresh basil on top for garnish.

Notes

Optional: Pair with side salad or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
