How to Make Crispy Homemade Baked Chicken

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare your breading station with one dish of beaten eggs and another of panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spray the tops of the breaded chicken lightly with olive oil.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Rest the tenders for a couple of minutes before serving.
