  • 2 cups Canned Chicken Breast Meat or leftover turkey
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise light or dairy-free for healthier option
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder or Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill chopped
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Dried Cranberries or fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts or pecans or seeds
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Pecans omit for nut-free version
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds or sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup Tomato Basil Goat Cheese crumbled or omit for dairy-free
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the canned chicken breast, chopped celery, green onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, and mustard powder. Stir gently until all ingredients are well blended into a creamy mixture.
  • Incorporate the freshly chopped dill into the mixture, ensuring an even distribution.
  • Gently fold in the unsweetened dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, chopped pecans, and sliced almonds.
  • Sprinkle the salt and pepper into the salad, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Crumble the tomato basil goat cheese on top of the salad just before serving.
  • For the best flavor fusion, let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Although not recommended, you can freeze for up to 2 months.
